Just a little weekly fitness motivation

This motivational quote is so true. First you have to have the motivation to get off your butt and get exercise. Then you can focus on forming the healthy fitness habits. I’ve read online that it takes about 66 days (roughly 2 months) to form a good solid habit. I think thats doable. Nothing is instantaneous! As much as we wish it could be, its not. You have to work at it. Just like you have to work at getting the body you want, or the health you desire, you must work at forming the habits to do so.

What is Your Motivation?

“What is your motivation?”, is the question I am asking today. I talked a little about motivation in a post a couple weeks ago: “Who Needs Motivation?” – but this week I am going to help you discover YOUR motivation.

This past week I have been really working on my fitness. I’ve taken up jogging more regularly lately. Exercise really makes me feel good. When I begin I feel exhausted and want to quit right away, I look deep inside for my motivation for doing this.

How to Overcome Bad Food Cravings

We all get bad food cravings. Some for sweets, and some for salts. Some for fried stuff, and some for cheesy stuff. The list can go on and on. This desire or craving we get to eat something comes from past experiences of eating it. You felt enjoyment, and a sense of euphoria when you ate it and you want to experience that again. Or it brings back a memory of someone or something, and you want to remember that feeling. An easy way to get over this is to find healthy foods that will give you this same feeling. Who needs motivation?

One of the biggest issues we face when we are trying to lose weight is lack of motivation. It’s so easy to say to yourself, “Oh, I’ll get to it tomorrow.” or, “I just don’t have time today.” I am here to tell you that it is so important to just give yourself at least 20 minutes of time today to get a little exercise in. Eating Healthy Foods + Tasty Oatmeal Recipe

When you are on the 3 Day Diet you should follow the diet exactly. But after 3 days of doing that you will have 4 days of eating what you want. This does not mean you should over-indulge in practically anything you desire! You are in the process of trying to lose weight, so I suggest you eat healthy foods and don’t overeat.
