When you are on the 3 Day Diet you should follow the diet exactly. But after 3 days of doing that you will have 4 days of eating what you want. This does not mean you should over-indulge in practically anything you desire! You are in the process of trying to lose weight, so I suggest you eat healthy foods and don’t overeat. A balanced diet of plenty of vegetables and fruits, healthy grains, lean proteins and dairy, and healthy fats is the best way to go. Try to stay away from eating out at restaurants. They often will cook with unhealthy fats and it almost always ends up being an unhealthy meal no matter how healthy you think it might be. Today I’d like to share a simple and healthy oatmeal breakfast recipe. This recipe is great for when you are on the 4 days off of the 3 day diet. It is good for you and full of vitamins and nutrients you need. Enjoy!
Blueberry Pecan Oatmeal
Ingredients:
⅓ cup Oatmeal
½ cup blueberries
2 TBSP chopped pecans
2 tsp brown sugar
1 cup fat-free milk
Directions:
1. Cook oatmeal according to package directions.
2. Once cooked, add the blueberries, pecans, brown sugar and milk. You could also serve the milk on the side if you’d like.
